Parking Lot Pal
This is an original, one of a kind oil painting on panel of a raven. It measures 16 x 20 inches. The panel is a cradled panel measuring 1 5/8 inches deep. The sides of the painting are a natural birch color. It is wired and ready to hang on the wall. You don't need to frame it unless you choose to.
This raven came to visit us in Yellowstone National Park. We were eating a snack in our car in a parking lot. No one else was around. I think this raven had been fed, because he/she stayed right next to the car while we ate. Raven didn't even fly away when I got out of the car to take more photos! I liked how streamlined the raven looked in this pose, which is why I chose to paint it. I left the background a simple grey/tan color so that the focus would be on the raven.
