Big boy was inspired by a big male bison (buffalo) we saw in Yellowstone National Park. I had my biggest zoom lens and was behind a huge boulder, photographing him. He looked right at me as though he knew I was going to paint his portrait. Or maybe he was telling me to put the camera away.
This is an original, one of a kind oil painting on canvas.
