This is an original, one of a kind oil painting of a desert cottontail rabbit on a wooden cigar box. The cottontail is a regular visitor to our front yard here in New Mexico, and bunny is the reason why all of my perrenials have little cages around them! (To protect them from the hungry grazing of this long eared hopper.)
The cigar box measures 6 1/8 x 6 1/2 x 4 3/8 inches. It has dried tobacco leaves still inside which were used to pack the cigars which are now all gone. (No, I don't smoke cigars. I just like the boxes! The dried tobacco has the most wonderful smell that I decided to leave it in the box.)
