Jack of Many Colors
It was not uncommon to see jackrabbits with torn ears. I always wondered how they ended up that way. Did they get caught on a cactus? Did they get torn while escaping the grasp of a predator of some kind? If jackrabbits could talk, they would have some stories to tell! We are left with speculation.
This torn eared jackrabbit visited our backyard one hot summer day. Her visit inspired this painting. I decided to paint her with summer colors, just for fun.
This jackrabbit was painted on a gallery wrapped canvas measuring 30 x 24 x 1.5 inches. The background color wraps around the edges of the canvas. There is no need for framing. It is wired and ready to hang.
It has been signed on the front and the back by me, the artist.
It is an original, one of a kind painting. If you love it, make it yours today!
